Well I finally got out with my e-trac and it's a great machine! I found a 1846 large cent 10 inches deep with alot of trash in the area and a merc and some other coins.I had an explorer 2 before and I found alot of coins with it but going from the explorer to the e-trac was no problem in fact the e-trac is more stable and easier to use,i can see i'm really going to enjoy it.The large cent is in bad shape the ground did a job on it i can just barely read 46 the 18 is about gone but the liberty band can be seen so i think it was like new when it was lost, but you can't beat finding a larg cent the first time using a new machine. Here is a pic of the large cent the ground ate it up thats the problem with copper.I once found a 1848 large cent that was under a side walk and it was like new.
