Went out this afternoon up the street to help out a friend to try to find his secondary gasline to a cottage that's being demolished on the property with the CZ-70...the gravel driveway was filled with iron slag and the line is a couple of feet down so we'll have to wait until they dig with a machine since the driveway is rock-hard compacted. I then went over to say "hello" to his neighbor who lives in an 1877 farmhouse that I've hunted before. I tried using an X-Terra 50 here and it wouldn't work since powerlines run right along the side of the backyard...it went nuts no matter what setting...no problem for the CZ-70. I hunted for about an hour, low and slow..found some clad, '51 wheat, junk, and this '48-D Roosie about 5 inches down-high coin-the first silver I've found in this yard. I have found 1899 and 1903 IH's here before along with many early wheats. Of course, it's fun of iron so it makes it a little tough. Always nice to find silver, especially with the ever increasing price lately...HH
