First time out in about a month... a little gold

I hadn't been out detecting in about a month .. decided to hit one of my favorite beaches.. it was quiet today (sanded in) so I decided to hunt closer to shore in the rocks which is better suited for a VLF detector but all I brought was my PI .. not much junk, not much of anything but was happy when I found the 14k gold ring with the tiny rubies, they are real..

Hi Craig,
Nice to see you got out and added to your collection, what's that silver looking thing in the upper right hand corner?
I still haven't been out,had too send in my CZ20 to an authorized service center, in LI hope they can fix it?

Hey Rich.. I hooked up with Robert today.. he was skunked.. in the gold dept... its was a cookie blob that when I broke it open turned out to be a watch battery..
