ive never metal detected before .... and i have no clue what i am doing !!! i bought a brand new prizim iv by whites ... so i guess ill try that i wanna buy a dfx tho !! maybe in a few months ! after winter. so im going to a park were there is baseball feilds and games big little league games every week for the past 30-40 years !! yes thats a long time nothing has changed at the park + a section were picnic benches are brought in and the park every year has like 2-3,000 people for the 4th of july its a big park but were people go to sit and watch the fireworks on benches and blankets isint that big ! sooo i have gone to this park every day to play basket ball or baseball i am 21 now i havent gone in about 2-3 years but i have gone since i was about 11 years old almost every day and not onces have i seen a person metal detecting so im gonna run threw this place a few times but tomarrow ...sunday morning im gonna try it out and try this metal detector im not sure how to use it 100% with the senstivity i dunno if it should be low or hi or what but wish me luck i will post pics of everything i find tomarrow night ok !!

first time out brand new detector !!

Metal detecting is like eating cookies. Once you eat one that one leads to another, soon your good at eating and knowing different cookies. Same goes for metal detecting one hit leads to another and you get better and better. Take it slow and it takes time, remember some of the posts on the forum are from members with lots of years under their belts. So don't compare what you find and what they are finding. Just enjoy yourself. It is a great hobby. Jer
