here is a pic of what i have found with my 250 in the 45 mins i used it...im new to the hobby and so far it seems like its going to be something im going to enjoy. today was my first day ever metal detecting!! i would still be out there but it got too dark to see what i was looking for.

Get a head lamp! Practice air testing in the garage at night and get use to how it reads at different settings on different metals. You did great !Caution the feaver runs high when u get hooked!

Looks like you are well on your way to getting some good surprises. If you keep digging those pulltabs, you will soon get a gold ring, as they both read about the same. Copper equals coins, rings, large cents, Wheaties ETC.....

Thanks for posting ;)

Hey benc2,
That was a very good lift for a first time out. Well done.
Yep, I can vouch for the fever it really does get some grip on you especially after the first ring.

Your digging the right stuff! With copper and aluminum prices high those little pieces will add up. Get you three 5 gallon buckets. Throw copper in one aluminum in the other and other metals in the last. Then recycle them and put some cash in your pocket. You might as well get a few dollars for it for your effort of digging. Where I take my metal they don't take the time to pour the buckets out. So I get paid for the weight of the buckets.
