I couldn't wait any longer to try out my AT PRO in the water, so yesterday (Thursday) evening, I went down to Lake Michigan. I can't even begin to explain how cold the water was....but just sticking my feet in the water took my breath away!! I had only planned on going in about knee deep.....and I stuck to that plan! I did not have a water scoop so I just caredully used a beach scoop. I did not last long....but did manage to find 2 clad coins and a cool little toy car. Even though the water was miserably cold and I lacked a proper scoop....it was still a fun time and the AT PRO worked great! I intentionally dropped it in the water many times while trying to dig some targets and no leaks....thats a good thing. It was a beautiful evening....nice and warm out. I also had alot of people stop and talk with me...crazy guy in the cold water...lol. So anyways that was enough insperation to go out today and purchase a awesome heavy duty water scoop. Can't wait to get another chance to hit the water again!
