Very first signal was a 10K ring with a stone got the other ring when I was leaving. I think I'm going to like this machine!!!!H/H JOE
 
The only reason I dug it was being a new machine. VDI was 8. I noticed there is a difference in VDI between the XLT and MXT. I had an XLT for 6 years and got tired of having to scroll the menu to change something,thats why I got the MXT. My XLT small gold rings VDI at 17/22,large gold rings 58/62=MXT 55!. XLT Wheat pennies solid 72/74 MXT 70;XLT pennies and dimes 78/81,MXT 75/77;XLT quarters solid 87;MXT 84.OL'well looks like I have to learn my numbers all over again, 6 more years and I should have these VDI's down pat.Also got an Indian head penny today that came in 55/57 VDI. H/H JOE
