FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME:super:

Well this is the first time in twenty years I have used my detector. I put it away when I was 13 or 14 because a family friend borrowed it and of course it came back broken. I just decided to send it to Garrett for service and recalibration and took it to the local park today for the first time and I was pleased on the take. I have seen the stuff you guys pull out of holes and this is far from that but this sure made ME happy. I got silver (earing) and one wheaty (unknown year) and a total of two bucks even.
Here is the treasure:

Welcome back. Not a bad haul for a "first" time.

Goes to show that even the old detectors can find the stuff. I'll bet you will be looking for a newer model sometime soon though. They are Sooooooo much easier to work with. Nice finds on that trip out....
