The finds are barely worth inconveniencing the pixels to post, but more importantly it just felt good to be out in the beautiful springtime 28 degree, windy, snowy weather... Ground was thawed which was nice, I was frozen though which wasn't so nice..

Good to see you got out I think next weekend I will be able to get out . Not bad considering the conditions .sube

Thanks Sube, best of luck out there! It's been a long winter.... I believe that one find is a Jews harp.

Nice finds Gary, love the Jews Harp!

Thanks Guys... Good observation ML. I was using the stock coil to help get into the nooks and crannies between the corn stalks.

Nice Finds Gary

And Yes I Feel Your Pain

Believe It Or Not I Still Have Not Found A Jew Harp In Spite Of Being One LOL

Ha, well,I guess they are quite rare considering its the only one I remember finding in all my years detecting.

We experienced the exact same weather on Sunday in central Michigan - rain, sleet, snow.... Blowing sideways - it was hard to maintain my balance at times! Better days ahead:thumbup:

Good start it looks like the weather is finally turning here is a nice diagram showing a complete one.

thanks Tony! It sure does look like what I found. good to hear the weather is turning for you too. it's still cold here but not freezing at least as much.

I've actually found several of them. Didn't know what they were at first (thought they were some kind of wheel/cotter pins) until my hunting buddy told me what they were.
