First time detecting in about a year

Got the itch to try out the Ace 350. The last time I tried the Ace it was falsing. John Edmonton gave me some tips on disconnecting the coil blowing off the connections etc.. The Ace was back up and running I ran the smaller double d coil it is my favorite. Had a couple deep signals but no silver. The oldest coin was a 44 wheat penny. It was fun, my youngest actually went with me oldest nickel was 1948 Total was 16 quarters 20 dimes, 6 nickels and about twenty pennies. I got the pro pointer to work for most of the hunt but I guess I need to tear it down and fix the button!

Felt good to be back out, and in the past I would hunt alone. I was letting my 11 year old swing the Ace its a perfect fit for him being so light. The Garrett is a very light and very easy machine to use and remember. I'm almost afraid to break out the Whites Eagle Spectrum not sure if I can remember how to use that machine. I can' t find the charger for the battery pack anyways!

Yeah it was nice that my youngest was showing an interest. It also takes away the guilt of me being gone because you know time flies when your having fun! He wants his own detector I guess we will have to use the money we are finding toward his own detector!!
