First Texas service question.

Has anyone had to send their F-75 in for repairs? How long till you got it back? Also, can someone explain the double beep on shallow targets? I thought that the DD coil had a narrow detection path right down the center of it. How can it see deep stuff in trash if it double beeps on the shallow targets that are close?

Thanks.

The double beep is typical of a DD coil. The "sweet spot" is down the middle, but the outer edge of the receiver coil will also register a shallow target. Lift the coil to determine which is the target and which is the "shadow" hit.

No info on service - check the post a few days ago on that.
