First Texas Pilot

Anyone try or use a 10" magnum coil on a FT Pilot...I got one as a back up detector, and I havent been real impressed with the depth (i know its only a $125 machine), It would serve me better if I could get a few more inches though,...just wondering if a bigger coil could do that.

Thanks
Randy

Hey Randy. A bigger coil should get you more depth. Maybe not a few inches. Make yourself a test garden or try air testing to help determine what kind of depth your machine is capable of with each coil. Just my two cents worth- hope it helps. HH. Matt
