First target, First scoop,............... 14k

Couple of weeks of nothing but clad, one trip got 16 cents and a lead head, finally changed with a walk into the water this morning just before sunup. Turned on the Xcal, took a couple steps and swings...., 14k, 3.7g band with chippers in the scoop.
It was a real nice morning,(Seen 4 other hunters) water was clear but had some surf to it. Trying to stay in front or behind the breakers kept you from getting topped or slammed, but I still took a couple over the head and you could feel a slight rip in some spots.
Got some clad, never seen a fishing weight like that, a Triton Tungsten, some junk jewelry and a 925 earring. GL ALL

Bob, good to see you today. It's also good to know my plan for the day would have worked IF I would have got to the water a bit earlier..... after leaving you, I did manage to scratch out a 4.72 gr. 14k band that saved my day.
