A coworker of mine knowing I detect, informed me a friend of her and her fiancée had lost his wedding
ring in the ocean. She asked if I could take a look. She let me know the hopeful area and off I went. About two hours later
I get this tone im not used to hearing. Im used to (GoneHuntings Setting) this time it was the stock beach setting. Anyway
it sang in at 12-15 solid. Nice and Shiny in the scoop.:wiggle: did the happy dance and the people on the beach probably thought I was being bitten by crabs or something. Hahaa. The ring was a man's 14k Platinum. Yes it was his ring.

That's awesome! Good for you!

Nice story with a happy ending. I have people at the beach frequently ask if I can help them find a recently lost article and I always do so happily. When I find the lost article, they always want to give you a reward. I always thank them and refuse any money. I tell them I was happy to find their lost item for them. One time I was hunting near a Pier. I looked up and there was a middle aged couple racing down the pier. All of a sudden they came to a screeching halt and started looking around. Then they came down on the beach and starting looking under the pier. I asked what they had lost, and they refused to tell me. The tide was getting high making it almost impossible to see anything. I asked them to give me their phone number so I could return the item if I found it. They refused.
I then asked their kid what they had lost and he said a pendant on a chain. They then left.

To make a long story short, I found the item the next morning, an emerald surrounded by 10 diamonds. I put an ad in the paper, but no response. So I gave it to my wife. It was a beautiful piece of jewelry... nes

Lucky for you Nes that they were so rude. I was offered a gift certificate to a restaurant but also refused.
I told them the first time was free not really expecting him to lose it again.

More so lucky for my wife and unlucky for me, I had to buy her a one hundred dollar gold chain. I couldn't find the one that originally held the pendant.... Nes
