First Spin with the CTX

Had a wonderful first outing with the 3030 at low tide. Hunted for 4 hours. Most of my coins were found in the 10-12" range with the stock coil. The sterling chain hit at 12-28 at 8". Thirty-four grams, 925. It was black when I pulled it out of the sand.

I see a 17" coil in my future. Hunted open screen and used the stock beach program to cross-check. Mind you, this is a well-hunted beach. I believe Minelab has raised the bar. HH...
 
For a first outing that is awesome. I think I found a brass washer screen thingy for a garden hose my first time. You win .:)
 
It was a fun day, Bob. Thanks. I have been through several detectors in the past year. I believe I have found a keeper.
 
Thanks, BG. For the record, it was the first time with the CTX and not the first time detecting. Just took my time. Experimented with sensitivity a bit and the targets just kept coming. Had a lot of stuff that was just on the fringe. i am anxious to see what the 17" coil will produce. HH...
