First Sovereign And The GT Tone Question.

I was thinking of buying the GT before the price increase. My question is,does the GT make the same sound as the first one when over a target,SOFT WHOP-WHOP or does the GT have a different tone.
 
it's been awhile since i've used my sovereign but i believe they have different tones for different targets.
 
Relic hunter, either your variable tone is disabled or you are in all metal.You should hear different tones for targets while searching in discrimination even with the threshold sound.Good Luck
 
or if your referring to the first original sov versus the GT, the two sound alike. the range can vary a little by an internal setting but not a whole lot.
