First Solid Month With X70 Coin Totals

RLOH

Well-known member
I am retired and the weather here in NE Ohio was pretty good for April. I hunted 24 days starting April 5th until today, about a month. I got out a couple of times in March, but not much quality time as it was cold. Here are my totals, including todays four wheats and one 1917 merc. I found 540 coins. 59 wheats, 4 indian heads, 10 silver roosies, 9 mercs, 2 barber dimes,3 silver washington quarters, 1 standing liberty quarter, 1 standing liberty half,4 buffalo nickles, and one V nickle. Also, I found 8 silver rings and 5 silver pendents. It was as good of a month as I ever had. The remarkable thing about my finds is they ALL came from spots I have been hunting for years. I did not go to one new spot yet. A few of these finds were made with my CZ 70 which I sold last week. Now for the bad news, if I don't start finding some new spots, I don't think I can keep up this pace. Thanks to all who have helped me with this fine detector. R.L.

Keep swinging that coil. You've got all next winter to research new spots to hunt! HH Randy
