I know I haven’t met many of the members yet, but I had to share my first silver find. Found right in my own front yard.

Welcome. That's an awesome find for your first silver. It will be interesting to see what else your yard produces.
 
What a find! A coin like that is on a lot of people's bucket list, to find a half dollar is rare these days, to find a silver Barber Half dollar is extremely rare.
Sounds like you might need some help hunting the rest of your yard. LOL.

I have been hunting since the 70's and still looking for my first Barber Half.
