Been metal detecting over 3 years now and today I found my first silver a 1936 quarter with my at pro here in my yard that I have pounded over and over with my other detectors.
It was at 8" deep I was in pro coin mode and the id was jumping around in the 80's and the tone was still clear I didn't even have my headphones on. After I dug it I scanned and got another signal right beside the hole and found a wheatie and then another one a 1940 and a 1941 one was right at 8" and the other at 6" I was running full sens, disc at 35 GB at 72 and I'm pretty sure the jumping around was it picking up the quarter and the wheaties so that's pretty awesome.
I took a break and went back out after dark (it's cooler) and I found the button in the pic so it's been a great day for me and I'm so excited about my first silver and I love my at pro I wouldn't trade it for anything else I'm very happy with it.
Now if I can just save up and get me a pro pointer I will be in one happy camper for sure.
