First Silver

Been metal detecting over 3 years now and today I found my first silver a 1936 quarter with my at pro here in my yard that I have pounded over and over with my other detectors.
It was at 8" deep I was in pro coin mode and the id was jumping around in the 80's and the tone was still clear I didn't even have my headphones on. After I dug it I scanned and got another signal right beside the hole and found a wheatie and then another one a 1940 and a 1941 one was right at 8" and the other at 6" I was running full sens, disc at 35 GB at 72 and I'm pretty sure the jumping around was it picking up the quarter and the wheaties so that's pretty awesome.
I took a break and went back out after dark (it's cooler) and I found the button in the pic so it's been a great day for me and I'm so excited about my first silver and I love my at pro I wouldn't trade it for anything else I'm very happy with it.
Now if I can just save up and get me a pro pointer I will be in one happy camper for sure.

That is awesome RounderRick  I too dont think i would trade it for anything else.Good Luck and happy hunting!!

Nice finds!! I notice a lot of people are finding stuff with the ATP in places that they had been over with other rigs. Impressive, I'd say!!

Way to go Ricky. Nothing like finding your first silver. I found my first silver today with my Ace 250. It was a mercury dime. I been detecting now since April. Good luck and hope you find many more.
