First silver with the SE

Also, first and second silver and of the year. I bought a used SE and used it for the first time last weekend and found a couple dollars in clad. Saturday I
had an hour of sunlight and headed to a local soccer field. Thats were I found my first silver of the year a 1925 Merc. Then at the same park yesterday
out pops a 1914 D barber and a sterling silver cross on my way to the car.

I want to thank you guy's for all the info in this forum. I've had the SE for over a month but had not used it. I ran it in Factory presets for the first 2 hunts then
I could not help myself and increased the Gain to 10 and dug mostly high tones. I think I'm going to like this detector tho it's going to take alot of practice.

I have high frecuency hearing loss so I don't think I be finding the deep silver you guys talk about, but I'll be happy with the shallow ones. These dimes were no more then
3 1/2- 4" deep.

HH, Epi

Very nice digs !

If your issue is hearing high silver tones, you can just set your Explorer to emit a lower sound for those targets.

Congratulations on the silver.
