First Silver with my Vision

New member
HI, all:

Have had my "Vision" (one of the original models) for about 2 months. Been using it hard to get the hang of it. Love it for coins and am using it with confidence. Been hunting a large Upper Elementary school that I've pounded over the years. Always a new supply of targets being depositied, and the chance of finding an old coin, as well. Haven't found anything terribly old. Some wheats and a pile of clad. Been looking for my first piece of silver, and today I found it. Unfortunately, not a coin, but a nice little girls silver ring with three stones (one is missing). No marks, but it read a solid 58 VDI # and had a beautiful bell curve in the Analyze mode. Only an inch deep. Not a silver coin, but that will come as I branch into other areas to hunt.

Thanks for looking, and keep on diggin'

Silver coins are nice, but I kind of fancy the jewelry, especially when they have stones in them. Congratulations on your first Silver find Jim.

Exactly...silver is silver, but, jewelry w/stones can be real interesting. Nice find, Jim.

Congratulations Jimmy! The silver coins are sure to follow.
