Since I got my e-trac last month I have only had a chance to hunt with it 3 times I went to an old house here in my town and was able to get my first silver and Indians with it ,still need to learn a lot but I think its a keeper.

So are the Indians .....

Awesome Finds! Indians and a Standing Liberty Quarter with a date is a great hunt! Way to go and congrats!

Great hunt! Your season is off to a great start! Welcome to the etrac.

Whats the date on the quarter? Almost looks like 1916! Cool finds!

If that is indeed a 1916 Quarter it is very valuable. If it is I would have it certified by a Professional Grading Service like PCGS or NGC. The 1916 only had a mintage of 52,000 and even in bad shape bring 2000-3000 dollars. Make sure it is 1916 though it looked like 16 or 18 to me hard to make out.

Congrats! I mean it looks like 1916 but its hard to tell in a picture. If it is 1916 you just made one heck of a coin find!

Brian the neighbors told me you was hunting my yard while i was away. Looks like you found part of my test garden. Some friend and hunting partner you are.lol.... congrats my friend. Looks like you was taught really well
:super:

Treat that Standing Liberty with cotton gloves....that is a find thats right up there if not beyond a gold coin! Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on some outstanding finds.

That quarter definitely looks like the key date 1916. Handle that coin by the edges only and with gloves on, get that sucker professionally graded. It can fetch several thousands of dollars even with a low grade. Congrats on a find of a lifetime :)

Also, if you are not that familiar with coins, I "highly" recommend picking up a copy of the 2013 red book and / or the 2013 blue book. I prefer the blue book over the red book personally. The blue book is a price guide for what a dealer would expect to pay for a coin vs the redbook which is what you as a collector would expect to buy a coin from a dealer. Just my 2 cents

Wow, Hopefully you find a few more just like it. Awesome job. CODY
