First silver w/ X70

Thanks to all for the feeback I received on this forum before buying the X70. I am reallllllly impressed with the machine.
I scored two silvers this past weekend hunting some old foundations in the woods with the stock coil....42 Merc and 57 Rosie
What really impressed me was while I was hunting I get a beautiful dime signal that locked on and repeated. I PP it at 4" and dug my plug.
Much to my disappointment when I removed the plug was a bent nail sitting at the bottom of the hole. I put the nail in my pouch and re-cheked the hole and there was that sweet singing in my ears again. I stick my probe in the hole and feel the vibration so I carefully loosen the dirt and down about another inch or so sat a beautiful 42 Merc and I swear she was winking at me for unmasking her from her iron vest.
I am almost 100% positive my old M6 never would have heard her cries for help.
Another satisfied Minelab user.

Thanks again for all your advice and knowledge!

Congrats of your first silver, I hope it the first of Many.....

Excellent!!! Good to hear that you "followed up" on that iron target and reswept the hole. Lots of people forget that part!!! Congrats on your success and keep us posted as to future finds. HH Randy
