First silver this year

I know this find is not a big deal to most of you, but the town I live in has really been detected hard and a lot of detectors have an E-trac. I got permission to detect an old house that used to be the Red Cross building. I found this standing liberty. It is really worn, and I can't read the date, but I'm glad to have it.
I found 20 silver coins last year, but this is my first this year.

Nice one, congrats. Way to break the silver slump.

I agree with Eva! We all share in your excitement and a Standing Quarter, non the less! Way to go. The date might just appear as well. The first one I found, I couldn't read the date, but after a month or so out of the ground, I could just make it out! Thanks for the pictures.

Big congrats! It is a very big deal anytime a standing liberty shows up in the hole. I have only found 1 in 15 months of detecting.

Congrats! I love finding Standing Liberty Quarters because they are so hard to find. I've only found one with a date.

Congratulations on the SLQ, private property is the way to go for sure. I live in a small town and all public areas have been hit pretty hard but I can hunt private ptoperty and still find some silver. Good find and now on to #2 !!!

A SLQ was your first silver of the year - way to go - congrats !

Good grab on that nice silver.:clapping: congrats
