I have been reading though. Nice to read about and see all of the goodies you all have been digging up.
I don't get out to hunt nearly as much as I used to. Am working again. Got re-hired last Nov. after 2 years
of being unemployed. This does cut into my metal detecting time though. It's ok my Etrak is always ready
to go.
Went out to a local school yard today that I've hunted over and over. Decided to try a different area.
Found a few clad dimes and then got an 11-47 signal about 2" down. I dug a little plug and there
it was. You know it's silver when it's shiny right in the ground. I was shocked to see it. Didn't expect
to find a silver coin so fast in an area I've hunted so much before. I was only there for about 15 minutes.
It's a 1953 Washington quarter.
