Found a silver ring at about 2 in today down at the park. Also found
Clad
2 Quarters
14 dimes
1 nickle
26 pennys
total of $2.21 !!!
And another toy car!! lol
The ring was a big suprise it was signaling like a pull tab.. i had a hunch on it.. Because tabs usualy wander on the number id and this was a rock solid.. So i dug and im glad i did !!
I dont this this is too bad for only the second day ive had my C$
 
Woops....... Forgot to mention that on the inside of the ring the marking says .925 mexico
It is a huge mans ring also.. about 1-2in to 3/4in wide. and realy think too.
 
Well i do have a couple questions.. I keep getting lots of .. Maybe false signals? i lowerd my sense andd thresh, I think its just because this park is realy trashy.. I have taken to only digging strong repeatable signals. If it holds at any number between 20 and 40 and repeats without much variance i dig it.. If not i dont.
But here lies the problem.. What am i missing? I dung another 3-4 holes to china today without finding a damn thing. really strong and repeatable signals of 25 to 35.. And i mean it was strong.. The depth should have been only 3-5 inch.. But i was somehow still missing the dang thing.
One i got down to 14 inch and gave up.. Every handfull i pull out i wave infront of the MD to make shure the target isnt in that clump. Also i have not had any problems pinpointing targets in 4-6 inch of dirt or less.
So what the hell am i doing wrong? Does the C$ realy see coins deeper then 14in?

The target could be in the side of your hole. Do you have a pinpointer? They will really help you locate targets in the sides of your hole.
Coins tilted at an angle can cause your pinpoint to be off by several inches.
Things like wire detected longlong wise can cause the pinpoint to be off several inches.
Couple of things you can do. First pinpoint in Disc mode, then pinpoint with the pinpoint mode. If there is real difference between the two spots the target is likely in between the two spots. Dig in the midddle.
Another thing you can try is to detune your pinpoint to narrow the target signal down to a smaller area.
I have dug deep holes before and often would find the target in the side of the hole.
Or you could really be dectecting some deep metal object. Then it would be taking your pinpoint reading and lifting the coil to see if the signal strength stays beyound what a coin size object would drop out.

Thanks guys.. It has been a fun 2 days lol In total ive found arround 8.50$ in clad so far! but i have failed to even find anything at all at the beach... Bahh keeps falsing realy bad. I have tried several diferent things but nothing seems to work. I am starting to think there might be RF interferance.
Im going to try a diferent beach the next time i go out. (btw all my finds have been in a small city park so far)
