First silver of the year

upnorth

New member
Good day gentlemen. The ground is basically thawed out for the most part here now. So I have been doing some grass strips along the sidewalks the last week or so, when I can. I am delighted to say that my first silver of the year has a few years on it. I came across a strip that was chewed up from lot construction and she was down a fair ways, kind of a bouncy\scratchy signal. This king didn't live very long so his silvers are a little more scarce. Well they are for me at least.

Nice one, upnorth! Looks like you're lots of canine jewelry, too! :clapping:

Good day gentlemen indeed! :surprised: Looks like you pounded that spot for Old Glory! Nice find!:clapping:
Mud

Nice oldie in that 1910. Still plenty of snow around here yet:thumbdown:

Thanks William. It felt great to be out again. The weather just took a turn, but I hope to be out tomorrow.

Thanks Mud. It was a funny signal, but solidly repeatable. I was happy to see that I didn't scrape it, man that is always a bummer.

Still doing the nice weather\cruddy weather unstable thing here. I appreciate when I can dig though.

Good going on the silver and that you are now able to dig other then snow. HH jim tn

You bet, lol. I am actually glad that I saw one of John Edmonton's posts a few years back. He made me aware of snow digs. Sure is nice to go for it now and then. :detecting:

Nice one too! Eddy's in pretty good shape. Good luck on your finds this year.

Thanks, you too. I am slightly bummed that my best field here is wheat stubble. Oh well. It is great fun to see what folks find, and to swing the beeper. :clapping:
