Got out to a football field I haven't hunted before after work with the Cutlass umax running the brown donut.
This soil was eassssy digging after some long needed rain. Also noticed the zincs get nasty quick in this dirt.
Found some real foodies though, silver plated trumpet mouthpiece , thin silver ring ( I think) plenty of nickels and clad oh and wait and a great looking 1950 D Franklin half Wo0t! That is a first for me ( my 2nd silver half and 3rd total)

Boys I was beside myself haha. So no class ring yet but I only crossed three passes the width of the field off so I would say it looks damn good :D

Be safe and good luck at it,

Lakota

Try as I might I cannot find a Franklin half! Plenty of JFKs, just no Franklin yet, and I lock on hard to those big signals and check them all..Congratulations! I would also like to get a big mens class ring this summer. Good Luck!:clapping:

Man that's a super nice find! Finding one of those doesn't happen very often or it never happens. Way to go.

Got a couple pics resized. Here they are.

Also went out to the same spot last night and didn't leave for home till 4:30 in the morning (didn't think it was that late haha)
Ended up finding one wheatie unknown date , $3.45 total clad count. A 1.7 gram sterling earring and two flute end caps ( one silver plated the other gold with pearl inlay) also found a couple mason jar lids one with porcelain still in it , those always get me a little excited for cache possibilities :D Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Stay safe and good luck guys,

Lakota
