First Silver of the Fall Season, First Foreign Silver Coin

The weather has finally cooled down here in AZ. Found this Italian 500 Lire cutie while out and about at a local park. It's a 1960, with the date on the edge. The obverse was pretty black with the reverse looking much better. 11 grams of .835 silver. Gave a 90-92 signal, hoping for a Franklin/Kennedy half. What a nice surprise. First silver foreign coin (other than Canadian silver).

Thanks John,

Coming from you, that's a real compliment. You always seem to find cool things, and your ring finding ability is quite astounding! Let's see what else I can dig up.

Cool Coin! ...That's one I've never heard of or seen before... I love learning new things !

Nice finds!
