First Silver! Finally.

I have been metal detecting for about 2 months now. The weather prevented me from going out as often as I'd like. Today was a beautiful sunny day. So I hit my local park. Went to an area where the grass was not as well kept as the rest of the park.
After a bit of clad and a lot of pull tabs I pulled my first silver coin. About 30 minutes later, I got another silver signal. I thought it was another silver dime. But instead I dug up this nice 4 gram silver ring! Two months with not one single silver. Then two in one day!
Gotta love it.

Great finds.. seems like you and I have a small silver streak going. It really is a lot of fun to turn the sod over and see that pretty little silver sparkle. Those rough grassy areas can be little coin/silver magnets.

That is the exciting part of the hunt to me, not knowing what might be in the next hole? Welcome to the silver club.....:clapping:

Silver sure makes for a good hunt. 1947 was a great year too that's the date stamp on my birth certificate.
