Today was my 58th birthday.I took off metal detecting as my present to myself.I hunted an old homesite.I found 15 copper Lincoln pennies,3 clad dimes,1 nickel , 2 wheaties and an 1887 Silver dollar.It locked on 93.It was 3 inches deep and I scratched it digging it.The yard is bone dry with 1 1/2inches of dirt over gravel.The other coins were 5 to 9 inches deep.Never thought I'd find a silver dollar.Next goals Barber dimes and Barber Quarters.It is getting real hard to look at my CZ let alone go hunt with it after using the F 75.
