First Silver Coin with the CTX....and some other stuff

Well I finally found my first silver coin with my CTX. I had hunted for about 12 hours hunt time with it and had found a couple of silver rings but no silver coins with it yet. MTWolf and myself hit an early 1900's house that we obtained permission to hunt. Here is the link to the video:http://youtu.be/jTnKOCpFWdQ It was a good hunt and the video is from my perspective and mostly of my finds. MTWolf had a good hunt too and he will post his finds. I am lovin' the CTX! By the way, he and I had previously pounded (we thought) this place with my Etrac and his SE Pro. I am convinced on the abilities of the CTX as my very first swing I found a wheatie and there was 3 nails in the hole with it. While the Etrac could find things around "some" iron, it wasn't as good at it as the CTX. Thanks for looking. PS I wasn't as careful with the digging as I normally would be because this place is owned by a friend from work and it currently is abandoned and he is going to reseed the yard in the spring so he said not to be worried about digging carefully!

Congrats on the SL :twodetecting::minelab::cheers:

The Minelab CTX for sure has some amazing abilities to see around/thru iron. Nice improvement! Thanks for the video!

It was a good hunt I am shocked at what we got from a home site we had hit before very hard. I got 8 wheats and a 1935 not 37 buff in great condtion. The were some spots in this yard that were a soild null on my SE so I think the improved iron see thru makes the difference.

Congrats on the recoveries. Around here, those Standing quarters are harder to come by than Barbers. Good hunt! Thanks for sharing. HH Randy
