First silver coin of 2015

I went to town and had about an hour before dark to detect and the first coin I found was a 1952 Roosevelt dime, 1972 quarter and 6 pennies including a 1952 wheat. Hope to post some photos this week. The 1952 dates are special to me because that was my late brother's year of birth. I was in a hurry as usual and wasn't as careful with my probe and scratched both these coins. I will be more careful next time I get to go dirt fishing.

Awesome! Congratulations Fongu!:clapping: Still too cold to get in the water, so those nice dirt hunts really fill the void.

Thanks. Hope to get out today if it's just for 10 minutes. Have permission to detect this old resort about 50 miles from home and hope to go there Saturday.

I've been trying to get out every day since Saturday, but maybe today is the day. Have permission to visit an old resort and will try to make it Saturday. Long drive for me, but will be worth it. Here are the photos.

Thanks Dancer, it was a long time ago, but the coins of his birth year meant a lot to me sentimentally.
