thanks to forum member southwind i got a good deal on a etrac took it out today got to swing it for a little while before it started raining took to a spot at the park that i have hit with my f75se many times and found three deeper coins one was a toasted wheat at 7 inches one copper pennie and one nickel i watched alot of vids on youtube so it was easy to operate, after using the f75 swinging slow is hard to do and its alot heavier than what im used to is there any aftermaket large coils that weigh less? hh

I swing both as well and the beauty of the 75 is the enjoyable break from the "momentum stress" of the etrac. I think you'll find more deep stuff and definitely get more discriminating info with the etrac as you get used to it , especially the audio part. The 13 Ultimate is bigger than the Procoil but still a bit heavier. The only coil I have heard of that is comparable in weight to the stock is the Sunray 12 which is also about an 1 1/2" larger. A bigger adjustment willl be the recovery speed( or slowness) with the etrac. Considering that , an interesting comparison might be the new 5 x 10 SEF WSS coil. Should be lighter , only slightly smaller and quicker than the Procoil. I'd buy one but I already have the 6 x 8 SEF and would rather spring for the 4.5 x 7 excelerator.

I think you should get the 5 x 10 and do a review for us. :)
