First seated coin

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally found my first seated coin. 2 days ago I went to an old house I had detected before with the relic mode on my XLT but with no good result. After a 2 week freeze I went back and used a coin program I made up and this is the result. An 1842 seated liberty half dime and as a result my TH partner owes me a McDonalds meal since I found the first seated. It still had about 3 inches of chain on it where someone had worn it probably as a necklace. The pic of the reverse side was too fuzzy to print.

VERY NICE THAT IS ONE OF MY GOALS FOR 2007 SILVER AWESOME:clapping:

What a great find, those Seated halves are elusive. I have found dimes but never halves. Even holed they are really special and being your first, even more so. Good luck on the Seated trail. Ron

Nice old coin there labman. Great find and hope you find lots more.
Does Mickey D's still have Super Sized meals :super:. HH Bill
