First search with my new SE - 2 hrs got me a blister and some junk...

This was with the factory preset. Towards the end I turned the iron mask on and but turned it all the way down. It went off constantly so I suspect that means there is a lot of iron where I was looking? But it did make the little bottle cap sound a lot different from everything else that was going on.

Maybe tomorrow I wll go to the beach where hopefully it will be a little cleaner. And that will give me more time to watch the DVD again too...

Yes indeed the se is certainly a challenge , sometimes i feel like i'm just out wandering in the field somewhere hoping for a bite (lol) , but it's getting better all the time , with out the se ( iused a white's prizm 5 before) i would have never found this , it was 10 to 12 inches deep

Hello Searching!
The SE is a beast wild and angry!

I own the SE and at first hated it. But, I persevered and feel I have made tremendous progress in taming the beastly SE! I never saw the DVD but have heard it's worth the money. Eventually you'll want to try out ALL METAL MODE. IMO, it's the only way to go as all the discriminating-learning options are mostly paper theories.
