About 60% of our snow has melted, however another 8-10 inches of that terrible white stuff is supposed to get here on Thursday. I had noticed a couple of parks and sports fields with grass showing, so I hunted dry land for a change. A couple of days ago I used the GTI 2500/12.5" Imaging Coil in a park, hoping to find an old coin or two. It turned out that the oldest relic that day was me. :( I did get a kids toy motor cycle, probably from the 1950's. Today got me a couple of rings. A tri-wound ring and a fake gold nugget ring. The scorpion sniffed these out. It has proven itself so many times to have an attraction with rings.

Here's the rings all straightened up and polished. And my new HARLEY.......

The scorpion also got an older spoon tonite, which had seen better times. I did some banging, cutting , forming and polishing and ended up with a "Devil Spoon Ring" as my teen age daughter called it. :)

Good to see that your're getting out.:detecting:
Those rings could have been gold !
Sorry to hear about the white stuff:thumbdown:

Whatever white stuff remains in the atmosphere as it gos west to east will be a gift to Winnipeg. Don't put away your snow shovel yet......

Still the king of rings even after a long, snowy winter! Good hunts, John.

Fab motorcycle, btw!

Chris
