First run on the beach

No earth shattering finds and I was a bit limited by torn ligaments in my ankle but I just wanted to say the ol' AT-Pro did really well from the dune line to wading. Got a few coins, sinkers and a perfume bottle with shells growing on it.

But thanks to the help of another forum member with more experience with the same machine the learning curve in salt water was pretty easy. Not that I've mastered it!

But there was no chattering or imbalance, even in moving surf it ran great. Once you get the trick of ground balancing in the salt it runs surprisingly well. Hit two targets so blasted deep we couldn't get to them with the tools on hand and a bad leg. We gave up around 12" as things were filling back in as fast as we could dig.

Still having fun and liking my Pro. Just wish I healed up as fast as I did when I was 20...
