First ring and wheatie of the year

Went to an old Elementry School for a while today with someone I met detecting in the park last fall. I managed to pull a 1945s and a Jr Fire Marshal ring.
Then went to the park and found a 1941 Canadian cent.
My detecting buddy was using an etrac and found a buffalo nickel at the school and the at the park he found 2 wheaties, and 2 mercs in the same hole. Then he found another merc.

All in all a good day.
Thanks for lookin.

Nice going better than my first ring of the year.Nice finds isn't the weather cold there? Is the weather like here in the lows 40s today went out for a hour got dime and penny and gave up to cold .

It was a pretty nice day today in the sun. Mid 40's. It was a bit shady at the park and my hands and feet got a little cold by 5:00. Mid 40's is the coldest I will go detecting. It has to be sunny and no wind.
