I know this might not be exciting to you veteran treasure hunters out there...but only been into this for two weeks and found my first ring today in a tot lot. 2 inches into the tan bark. And it's silver!

Made my day and only served to fuel my addiction to this amazing hobby!

Cheers,

Spencer

I've been detecting for 15 years now and I still get a good feeling when I dig any kind of ring. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Now your hooked!!LOL

Cheers to you for the find:thumbup:. Are there any kind of marks representing the ring?

WTG:clap: That is a great feeling when you pop out the silver. I just made my second silver find today with my ACE 350.

I was STOKED when I got my first ring. AND IT WAS JUNK. I still liked it though, my daughter still has it and wears it from time to time.

We've all benn there and done that and it was as exciting for us as it was for you. I still get pumped when I turn up a ring and I've found over 200 of them. Wait till you turn up a big, fat, gold one. You'll probably pee on yourself. HA. Nice find and good luck.

I remember my first silver ring quite well. I found it in front of an old school by a bicycle rack. I found two others in the same school yard later on when I learned a bit more about my machine. A lot of people concentrate on the playground areas, but don't forget those lines you use to have to stand in after recess to get back into the building. They were always near the doors. Onus
