Thanks John.. The more I take this Gold out to relic hunt the more I like it... I like the Standard coil on the Pro, but for relic hunting the 5x8 and having the threshold is just a awesome combination especially in the briars and small saplings. Its so easy to get in and out of the tanglefoot, that it will be going on most of my wooded relic hunts for sure..... I'm ready to head back but ole poison Ivy hitched a ride back with me this time... 
You are so right about that 5 x 8 coil. And it's depth is fantastic!
