First "real" hunt with Nox 600

lower case g

Between work, and the heat, I haven't had much time to do more than play with the Equinox 600 in my yard. Over the weekend, I was able to hunt a different yard. I found more copper than zinc pennies, the oldest being a 63. Found a little bit of clad. The screwdriver was a surface find. The dog tag is hard to read from the glare. It is aluminum and reads "Field Artillery Ft. Sill, Oklahoma" with the field artillery logo between the lines of text. Where I hunted is about 30 miles west of Ft. Sill.

The spoon is marked "Wallace XXXX" on the back. The XXXX means it is silver plated, if my math is right about 1.66 grams of silver. Don't know if that counts as my first silver with the Nox or not.

The backyard is the best place to learn a new machine... if that is the narrow screwdriver it makes for a great clad stabber for those areas that only hold new clad...

Nice hunt.
