First real Honduras hunt....

I had the opportunity to go yesterday with a couple friends to try out my new F2 that my wife brought from the US last week. I usually hunt with an MXT or Minelab, but I wanted to give the F2 a shot. It performed FAR better than I expected for an "entry level" machine. We hunted for about thirty minutes in an area maybe forty feet by fifteen feet. Nothing of great value, but still better than zinc pennies, and I get the impression this country is bursting with coins, etc. Somewhere in all this is some silver and maybe even a Spanish coin or two. Hope to give it another try in San Juancito this weekend. :clapping:

Seven ten-centavos de Lempira, three five-centavos de Lempira, one one-centavo (rather rare), one fifty-Colones from Costa Rica, one US penny from 1969, and a few other things. I liked the school pin.

Yeah? No telling what kind of old Spanish or Mayan metal might be out there? Very cool!:clapping:

Yeah man, I'd have a water machine real quick and be hitting the beach resorts.... Nice hunt!
