Started off the day finishing up a couple of chores, then fried up some shrimp & eggs for breakfast. I also put a fresh batch of pineapple sweet & spicy marinated strips of meat into my dehydrator to make some fresh beef jerky, as my supply is out. Next, I headed out the door for a bout 4 hours.

Most of the grass was diggable to at least 2-3 inches, except in he shade, where frost was still keeping the ground frozen. I did manage to a batch of coins, a silver earring, some bling and a 1998 Russian 2 ruble coin. Now Russian rubles aren't really worth a whole lot these days, so I turned it into a ring, figuring it was worth more then a couple of rubles. A ruble today is worth about 0.018 US Dollar. It might buy a 7 11 Slurpee straw.

Here's the coin and ring I formed from it. It was made of copper, nickle and zinc. It turned out to be a size 9.

Good start to a new season. I'm referring to that breakfast of course.
