First real detecting trip. Good success..

I hit an old 1840s farm house that I had detected with a buddy about 5 years back. We only hit it once and it has a huge yard/barn area. I saw in one of those realator magazines that the place was up for sale so I decided to go seek permission and it was granted.

Here is the entire haul before a cleaning. I like the big ornate thingy.

Was real surprised to find two Barber quarters in one outting and at the same spot. Rang out clear as day.

Here they are after a rinsing. 1894 S and a real nice 1908 O with full Liberty in the head band. Fun stuff. Also nabbed the 1900 Barber dime.

Here is the 1890 Indian after a bath. Good first time out.

I probably will hit the place again. I know there are a few more left to dig up. The folks were real nice and said I could come back again. Thanks, Jim
