First piece of diamond jewelry with F-75

Hi, all:

Was hunting our old local school yard yesterday and found the pictured three items (penny is for scale). A lead chess piece, a boy scout tie holder and a piece of silver jewlery with twelve small diamonds around the outside and a larger diamond in the center. I was hunting in JE mode, disc. at 23, sens. at 70 with 3H tones. I got a shallow signal that read 83 to 85 on the meter. Being a little higher than a clad quarter (81) I thought I may have located a silver quarter. But out popped this piece of jewlery at less than two inches deep. Not sure what it is. Has a post on one side of the back that is bent over against the other side. Post seems to be a little too thick to be for pierced ears. Whatever it is, it's a nice find.

Thanks for looking and keep on diggin'

Nice finds Jimmyk , I believe that small piece of jewelry you found is a tie-tac . A pin that was worn in plain view on neckties by gamblers ,
hoods or just plain flashy dudes ( kind of an early "Bling thing" .Back in he 50's most all the kids were in the Cub or Boy Scouts and I'd be willing to bet that's when most of those neckerchief clasps were lost . The metal Chess piece is pretty neat also . If you were to go back to that spot I'd bet you would find some Silver coinage .

No symnbols at all. From the post on the back, I'm thinking a lapel pin, stick pin or tie tack.
