First park hunt with my AT-PRO

TRIPLE-SSS

Well-known member
Went to a park not too far from my house and spend about 2.5 hours using my new AT-PRO. I've been there a few times and decided to hunt the same areas that I hunted with my other detector. This was my second time using the PRO, the first time was at the beach. Well, I am impressed, it did a pretty good job finding those coins I missed on my previous trips. I did manage to find a couple rings as well, just some chippies. I did notice that with bottle caps, using the iron audio, you do get a grunt sound both on the tip and tail end of the coil. I also learned how to identify any soda pop cans that are buried deep by paying attention to the sound and watching the numerical readings.I'm sure that I probably missed a ring or two by not digging those targets that fell between the 48 and 60 numerical range. On my air tests, I had allot of good rings I D in that range, was just too lazy to dig them up in dry dirt. It's allot easier to dig those tones on the beach.
HAPPY HUNTING

Nice to find stuff with the PRO youve been over with other detectors and missed . And this scenario has repeated itself over and over from my readings about detectors from alot of archives . But the ATpto has proved it to me with in a hundred square feet area of where I have pounded the ground and there should be a plaque with my name on it. I have a good impression of this machine ,not just from reading the reviews but from hunting with it for a few times. Aint it sweet:cheers:
