First Outing with V3i

Sataro

Active member
Hunting buddy & myself decided to enjoy the afternoon out. Spent the afternoon trying to figure out this V3i. V3i package arrived this week & this was the first time to try it out Had permission to hunt an old abandoned farmhouse. Lot of trash but did find a clad penny. Found a couple of buttons & a shell president token. Went to another house site & found a couple of wheats.

Nothing to brag about but did enjoy getting a chance to try the V3i out. I've got a lot to learn on this machine but it was hitting some deep signals. Nice Texas afternoon hunting without a jacket.

Howdy Sataro--

Nice finds for your first time out with your new V3i! You will find that the V is really an easy machine to learn. The key adjustments are your sensitivities, filters, recovery delay and, of course, your discrimination settings. I will suggest that you turn on VCO which is a great aid in pinpointing. For any questions that you may have ask them on Findmall's V3i Forum. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
