First outing with the F-2

Went to a park and hunted the south side of some hills where the sun had melted the snow. Ran max sensitivity with no discrimination and stock coil. The F-2 operated very smooth with no falsing. It is a very enjoyable machine to hunt with. Pinpointing was right on but depth readout didn't seem as accurate as the on the fly graph you see when your hunting. Detuning helped a little. I didn't find anything great but getting out to hunt in Nebraska this time of year is great. The deepest coin found was a clad dime at 4 inches. Found a handful of pennies and a couple of quarters too. Coins hit hard and ID numbers were stable. Some trash sounded good but the ID numbers jumped around some. To bad I forgot the camera at home, it sure was a beautiful day.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Hang that camera around your neck - we need photos. ;)

Hello KurtB:

Give it a few weeks or more.
Seems people are gradually coming out with
some negatives about the F2. I knew all the
great first time reports were too good to be
true. If you start having problems or find there
are things you don't like about the F2, don't
hesitate to speak your mind.

Until I see more reports over time, I'm holding
my opinions on the machine. But from what I
have seen, I might just forget about getting the
F2 at income tax time and go for the F4.

Yea, by all means, keep your camera on hand.
Love pictures.

Telling Kurt to wait a few weeks and then he'll have a negative report is funny

HUmmmmmm. Thats not exactly what I intended to say.:yikes:
I was just saying if there WERE any negatives by all means
express them. Ah well. Glad you picked up on the ambiguity.:super:
