First outing with my new Fors CoRe

I just rec'd my new Fors CoRe on Monday and have been playing in my own yard so tonight I felt confident enough to try it out at our local high school. There's an older ball field and track so I gave her a whirl. At first the signals were kinda tough but after just a few minutes I was digging coins no problem. I was using the large stock coil and had no problem determining multiple signals. This machine is phenomenal at target separation in trashy environments. There's one area that was built up a few years ago with some fill dirt after an older home had been razed so I was lucky enough to pick out one goodie in the trash.....a 1901 Barber dime!!!! on the first trip out the Nokta got some silver!!!! I was impressed to say the least. Can't wait until I really figure this thing out....

Wow! Nice job!!
If you like the Relic's ability to separate with the large coil just wait until you give the small coil a run. Unbelievable!
Can't wait to see more of your Relic finds. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the nice find with the CoRe :) I really like my Fors CoRe , it is my main goto machine. I even grab it over my R2. If I have a extreme iron/trashy site I'll use the R2 to utilize the iron audio feature, but even then, the Core will handle the extreme iron/trash sites as well ( with the small oor coil) I like 3 tone, gain at 85, ID Mask at 10 ( if I wanna not listen to all the iron I might bump it up to 19-20) either way the CoRe and small coil are very effective at unmasking goodies.

Awesome find!!
I'm really enjoying my relic but never had the pleasure to swing the core.
A weird voice inside says to buy the CoRe.... even though I have the relic. It's weird.
My brain had been making me want to buy more detectors lately.
But enjoy the core!! Nokta has really impressed me lately.

Core is awesome but keep your Relic, it is every bit as capable and has two more search modes now than the Core. I only sold my Core to buy the Relic and i do not regret it.

Yeah, I did find a red racer for a good price and still under warranty. So that's another idea. Essentially a CoRe, but set up different. Might pick that up, I don't know.
But I have to repeat how impressed I am with nokta. For the price, their detectors are leaps and bounds ahead of all others in that price range and even a bit higher.

The FORS CoRe is one solid performer with the stock 7X11 DD coil, and if you have the smaller 'OOR' 4.7X5.2 DD coil, it will amaze you in trashy environments.

My oldest son just 'upgraded' his personal arsenal this past week to the FORS CoRe and that means more competition for me when we get out to old sites ... but more enjoyment doing so at the same time. He'll now have the same easy learning curve you have. Best of success on your future hunts as you learn and master an excellent detector.

I think a lot of how we see a detector is born in the 1st few hunts, having said that I have had to spend time with some for me to come around.

but that's a great start sure you are going to be liking that new detector.
